How to Layback

September 26, 2017

Learn one of the most fun snowboarding trick. The Layback is one of those trick that's a lot of fun and you can't help but smile while you're doing it. There's not really any technical secrets to pulling off this snowboard trick, but I do have some tips, which will help you learn it faster and solve any problems you might run into. So, before you try Laybacks there are a couple tricks that you want to learn first. Tail presses will teach you how to balance on the back of your board and also how to flex your board. Tripods will get you comfortable putting your hands in the snow and help you get used to using your core muscles to get yourself back up on your board.

When you're ready to try Layback start by doing it in one spot. This will get your body ready by stretching out your legs and hips. This will also build your muscle memory, so you know how the Layback should feel while going down the slope. You can also get ready for the Layback by trying this at home.
