How to Tail Block

September 26, 2017

Learn how to tail block on your snowboard. A tail block is a fun snowboard trick that you can do on the flat ground or on a side bank. There are three snowboard skills you want to do before learning how to do a tail block. You should be able to tail press, ollie on a wall, and nose grab. As you're working on your tail block you can break it down into three parts, the approach, maneuver and landing. As you approach on your snowboard for tail  block, you want to ride up the bank, a bit on your toes. To perform the tail block you want to dig in your tail, stall, then grab your the nose of your snowboard. To land the tail block, pop out of the stall, then bend your knees to absorb the landing. When learning snowboarding tricks always start small, then make the features more difficult as you progress.
