Powder Snowboard Showdown & Destruction

October 30, 2017

These are all snowboards built specifically for fresh snow and powder.

Kevin's Libtech Mayhem is really short tail and long nose, much wider and shorter than a normal snowboard

Chris' Jones Flagship is more classical but has a boat like curve across the nose causing the board to 'float'

Doug's Burton Fish is a very unique shaped small wide powder board.

We got a lot of snow the night before and decided to get some powder boards for the day. After a warm up run we head up to the top of Blackcomb Mountain to test our boards up Spanky's Ladder and into the double black diamond runs. Time to move on and test out in some steep tree runs. So we head up Crystal Chair and drop into some of the unmarked areas

Final run we head up to the peak of Blackcomb for more steep runs and powder. Its tough to get to and by the time we get down we are all exhausted - and hungry.
