Exploring The Avalanche Debris Field - Whistler, B.C

October 30, 2017

In this video I explore a massive avalanche debris field on Blackcomb mountain in Whistler, B.C. The avalanche was set off on purpose by ski patrol to keep the area safe. Ski patrol used dynamite to blow up a large section of cornice that was too large and unstable. The cornice is along chainsaw ridge which has many incredible powder chutes to ride down and into the bowl.
