Today we're doing a top to bottom run on Blackcomb mountain in Whistler. It's amazing at this time of year there's enough snow for a top to bottom run! We start the run by hiking one of the highest points on Blackcomb at the top of the showcase T-bar. The snow at the top was surprisingly deep powder! The next section of the mountain was below the top of glacier chair. The snow here was a mix of melting and frozen snow which made it difficult to snowboard through. The next area of the mountain was the crystal zone, where the snow began softening up, making it much easier for doing side hits and snowboard tricks! On the home stretch to the bottom of the mountain the snow was soft and slushy. This snow was great for butter tricks, but we had to be careful of the dirt patches and exposed rocks. Thanks for watching!
